Rebecca & Shawn - Mariage au Saint-James Church Hall à Hudson

Il arrive parfois qu’un mariage ne se déroule pas comme nous l’avions planifié. C’est ce qui s’est passé cet automne avec celui de Rebecca et Shawn au Saint-James Church Hall, à Hudson.

Nous avons eu une foule de péripéties: de la pluie toute la journée alors que la cérémonie devait se dérouler à l’extérieur, un malentendu avec l’hôtel qui empêche la prise de photos, en plus d’un accident routier qui retarde la moitié des invités. La plupart des couples aurait baissé les bras avec moins que ça, mais pas eux! Les deux amoureux ont eu la meilleure attitude à ce propos, n’hésitant pas à servir eux-mêmes des apéritifs aux invités avant le début de la cérémonie en attendant les retardataires! Moins conventionnel que ça, ça ne se peut presque pas! Le reste de leur belle journée se déroula fort heureusement sans anicroche. Quelle formidable manière de conclure la saison des mariages 2016! 🙂

Sometimes, weddings don’t go as planned. This is what happened this fall with Rebecca and Shawn’s wedding at Saint-James Church Hall, in Hudson.

Several incidents popped up throughout the day: nonstop rain when it was initially supposed to be an outdoor wedding, a misunderstanding with the hotel that prevented us from doing their photos there, as well as a car accident that put us behind schedule. Most couples would have thrown the towel at this point, but not them! The two lovers had the best attitude about it and didn’t hesitate to serve aperitifs to the guests before the ceremony while we were waiting for the late comers to show up! You can’t make this up! The rest of their beautiful day luckily went smoothly. What a great way to conclude 2016 wedding season! 🙂
