Montreal photography studios and hotels for boudoir sessions

Your boudoir photographer and your MUA are already booked, but one last thing needs to be determined: where should you do your boudoir session in Montreal? If it's impossible to take photos at your home, whether because it's not suitable for photography or because you want to surprise your partner, we can book a studio or a hotel room.

The advantages: there is no need to tidy-up before our appointment, you can pick a decor that suits your style, we won't be bothered by other people and we will have enough space to take varied images.

Hotel in Montreal

Dayuse platform

Some hotels occasionally offer day use rooms on the platform Dayuse. These are at a very affordable rate, but can sometimes be tiny and/or outdated.

Before booking yours, I suggest contacting the hotel to make sure the photos used on Dayuse are representative of the room you will receive.

In every case, it's important to have enough space at the end of the bed. If it's located less than 2' / 61cm from the wall, I won't have enough space to back off and the photography possibilities will be limited.

PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIOS IN MONTREAL

Mirale Studios

– Located next to Marché Central in Montreal. 11 minutes by bus from Crémazie metro station. Free parking on Louvain Street, paid parking lot right in front of the building.

– Group of several separated studios located in the same space. Recommended studios: Imane, Bethany, Lotus and Venus since they're well-lit.

– Setups sometimes change with the season (ex: Christmas trees). The best is to follow their their website to know their current setups.

– During a rental, we will be the only people in the chosen studio. However, we can pass by other people in the lobby before and after the appointment.

– Accessibility: There is an elevator, but there are several stairs in the hallway, so it's not accessible for wheelchairs.

– Cancellation policy: Unknown. Contact the studio to find out.

– Sessions possible every day of the week.

– Rate: Varies depending on the studio. Between 65$ + taxes and 95$ + taxes for a 1h rental.

* Note: I often often use this location and highly recommend it!

 

Belair Suites

Maison Tela

– Located in Ahuntsic-Cartierville in Montreal. 6 minutes by bus from Sauvé metro station. Free parking in the street.

– Group of several separated studios located in the same space. Recommended studios: Saloon and Metropolitan since they're the only ones with windows. The other ones only have neon, which offers an unflattering lighting.

– Setups change with the season and can be cheesy. The best is to follow their their Instagram account to know their current setups.

– During a rental, we will be the only people in the chosen studio. However, we can pass by other people in the lobby and hear them during our appointment.

– Accessibility: There is no elevator, so it's not accessible for wheelchairs.

– Sessions possible every day of the week.

–Cancellation policy: Only a credit is offered, no refund. A fee can be asked to change the appointment date.

– Rate: Varies depending on the studio. Between 75$ + taxes and 80$ + taxes for a 1h rental.
* Note: I’ve had both positive and less positive experiences at this location. I’m keeping it on the list since they offer 1 hour rentals

 

Le Studio WITHIN

– Located in a commercial building in Montréal-Nord. Very difficult to access by public transit, a car is strongly recommended. A few one-hour client parking spaces are available in front of the building, parking is allowed on the street.

– White bed with white accent wall, marigold velvet sofa, green chaise longue with black accent wall, real plants, large window wall with sheer curtains and varnished concrete floor.

– Ideal studio for warm and somewhat moody photos.

– During a rental, we will be the only people in the studio. Very private and discreet.
– Accessibility: Elevator for guests. However, it's not always working during weekends.

– Cancellation policy: No cancellation fee if cancelled 7 days or more before the appointment. Otherwise, a fee is charged.

– Sessions possible every day of the week.

– Rate: 100$ + taxes for a 2h rental from Monday to Thursday, 140$ + taxes for 2h rental from Friday to Sunday.

* Note: I often use this location and highly recommend it! For your information, it will be changing ownership in February 2026, so decor or pricing changes may occur throughout the year.

 

Luma Lofts

– Located in a commercial building in Saint-Henri. 8 minutes walk from the Place-Saint-Henri metro station. Free parking on the street or paid behind the building.

– Loveseat, white brick wall, white wooden floors, large windows, fireplace, large bookcase, mezzanine.

– Ideal studio for romantic and luminous photos.

– During a rental, we will be the only people in the studio. Very private and discreet.
– Accessibility: Elevator accessible from the paid parking at the back of the building.

– Cancellation policy: Rescheduling fee of at least 25% of the rental cost for all postponements and cancellations.

– Sessions possible every day of the week.

– Rate: 150$ + taxes for a 2h rental from Monday to Friday, 170$ + taxes for 2h rental on weekends.

* Note: I tried this location and had a positive experience.

 

2B Loft Studio

– Located in a commercial building in Sud-Ouest. Very difficult to access it by public transport, the car is recommended (free parking in front of the building with a special vignette).

– Small kitchen, bath, plants, mezzanine with loveseat, boho chair and large industrial windows, movable wall with wheels.

– Ideal studio for pretending to be at home (ex: photos while cooking or taking a bath).

– During a rental, we will be the only people in the studio. Very private and discreet.
– Accessibility: There is no elevator, so it's not accessible for wheelchairs.

– Cancellation policy: No cancellation fee if cancelled 7 days or more before the appointment. Otherwise, a fee is charged.

– Sessions possible every day of the week.

– Rate: 160$ + taxes for a 2h rental from Monday to Friday, 180$ + taxes for 2h rental on weekends.
